Home Delivery

Our Home Deliveries are completed by our carrier of 8 years Seaside Couriers. We offer delivery 6 days a week, most weeks of the year. On the day of delivery the driver will call you approximately 30 minutes prior so you know they are on the way. When arranging your delivery, the sales consultant will ask you detailed information about your home including how many storeys, steps, stairways, property access and other obstacles. This is all important information to ensure we can safely deliver your new appliances.

Safety

Just like any employer our delivery contractors must ensure the safety of their workforce and comply with relevant Health and Safety obligations. If the delivery team deem, they are unable to complete your delivery without risk to their workers, appliance or your property they will advise you and either leave the goods in a suitable location at your address or return the goods to the store until suitable arrangements can be made. A subsequent delivery charge will apply for the re-delivery of products. 

Installation

Most washing machines, refrigerators and dryers will all be unpacked at the time of delivery if required and these will be placed in position and connected for use where our delivery team are able to do so. Packaging for these items will be removed as part of the service. Importantly these installation services are limited to simple connection and no alterations will be made to any existing services or access points. If this is required, we can suggest local tradespeople for you to engage at your cost.

Removal of Old Appliances

Old appliances can be removed but this must be negotiated at the point of sale, as it is on an all-care, no-responsibility basis. The unit to be removed must be uninstalled, free of cabinetry and disconnected from any water or power mains. The item to be removed must be in a clean and sanitary condition for example refrigerators sealed with spoiled food, washer that cannot be drained or soiled mattresses will not be removed. If an item to be removed requires a subsequent visit for collection an additional fee will apply.

Out of Area Deliveries

We can arrange delivery to most areas of Metropolitan Melbourne for our customers. These may need to be arranged with other freight companies and depending on the item and freight company involved connection and removal of existing products and packaging may not be available. Our sales team will discuss this with you when making these arrangements.
